In honor of my mother's upcoming 97th birthday...it's time to READ! While I was growing up my mother read to me every night. With a twist. She read me books related to her Masters and PHD studies in English. Books like The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and...BEOWULF! Her Masters from Samford University focused on Flannery O'Conner. Her PHD from the University of Alabama focused on translating into English an 11th century Latin manuscript about King Arthur. Yeah...she's a ROCK STAR!!  Mom makes a cameo appearance in the video.
